Fundraising

The Band Boosters organization is proud to assist with the financial support of the Instrumental Music programs at Apple Valley High School.  We appreciate your continued help and support!  Every school year, we arrange for fundraisers that benefit the Booster General Fund, as well as those that raise funds for Student Accounts.

We have arranged for several fundraisers during the 2022-2023 school year!  Announcements of upcoming fundraisers will be posted on this page and the Upcoming Events page under the Announcements tab.

Student Account Fundraisers - All funds raised allow students to reduce the cost of their band trip.

Cub Foods Bagging - It's an opportunity to see friends!

Von Hanson's meat orders - Feed your loved ones a great meal and help the band at the same time!

General Account Fundraisers - All funds raised support Band Booster activities, which benefit AVHS band.

Dine Out for Band - Come have dinner with your friends and earn money for band while you eat!  Participating restaurants offer a percentage of sales to the Band Boosters when you show a flyer.  Please monitor the Announcements page of the website for updates regarding the restaurants, dates and times.  

Burgers and Brats Community Event  - The Burgers and Brats event is a successful fundraising event every year at the first football game of the season.  

Give to the Max Day - We encourage all band supporters to give to the max on this day via our GiveMN link.  If you miss the exact date this year, use the same link for all other days of the year.  To make this easily accessible, the link is also available on our home page.

Bake Sales - Donate some baked goods and buy some treats at our Holiday band concerts.  Please consider donating or buying some baked goods for a great cause!

smile.amazon.com - The AVHS Band Boosters has an amazon smile account.  When you shop at smile.amazon.com, Amazon will automatically donate 0.5% of your purchases to the band.  Just click on the link on our homepage or set up your smile.amazon.com account to donate to the AVHS Band Boosters so that every time you shop, the donation is automatically made. 

Fundraisers that support both Student Accounts and the General Account include:

Droolin' Moose Chocolate - It's one of the best chocolates in town!  Great for holiday season gifts!  

Gerten's Flower Sales - Gerten's Flower Sale - Just in time for Mother's Day!  Orders for beautiful hanging baskets and potted flowers are taken by students in March.  

On trip years, the AVHS Band Boosters does offer some financial assistance to families who qualify.  You can read our policy here, and download a financial assistance application here.
